Exhibition • Dialogue

“Slumber Culture” is the Not-for-Profit programme that Slumber Studio carries out in Barcelona. Its format stems from a single word, which constitutes the theme of each event. Every edition consists of three parts: a dialogue between East and West, a film projection, and an art exhibition. It is a programme for debating the themes through different cultural forms and through the interaction of its participants.

Our aim is to foster and promote the exchange and coming together of the arts of East and West; to explore deeper themes that can make an impact in the field of the humanities (social, cultural and artistic); to strengthen the understanding of contemporary Chinese culture among Spanish people through dialogue and audiovisual productions; and to offer opportunities to Chinese artists attempting to have an exchange with their western peers in the cultural and arts sectors.
